About the Journal

About the Journal

The "Graduate Journal of Interdisciplinary Research, Reports & Reviews" (Grad. J. InteR3) is a Diamond Open Access (No APCs), single-blind, peer-reviewed journal. The journal aims to promote pure and applied research in various disciplines; sciences as well as engineering (both theoretical and experimental) within their respective research areas. Additionally, it seeks to raise awareness among authors and readers about the article publication process, research ethics, and research integrity. Moreover, the journal aims to facilitate open sciences and open data importance between graduate readers, and authors, in their respective research fields.

Reproducibility

The main purpose of the journal is to promote reproducibility and the ethical publication of research, fostering transparency and openness in scholarly work. Reproducibility involves ensuring that the findings can be consistently replicated for similar systems or ideas by following the same procedures and methods as the original study. This not only validates the results but also strengthens scientific integrity. Additionally, researchers are encouraged to leverage existing data from genuine, open-access sources, refine it, and interpret it with diverse perspectives, angles, or applications, thereby contributing to open scholarship and collaborative knowledge sharing.

The author(s) must ensure that all analyses, results, and interpretations are originally written by them when submitting the article, and they must give due credit to the sources. Emphasizing transparency, the journal supports open data, and open methodology, and encourages sharing research materials to advance reproducibility and innovation in the scholarly community.

The authors ensure that they adhere to reproducibility standards and do not create duplicate content or data.

In addition, the journal also aims to encourage academic researchers, emphasizing the publication of non-trending results in their research (negative results, or when results are not as expected from the specific experiment).

We strongly encourage senior researchers to submit detailed reports/chapters related to research ethics and research integrity topics besides current academic research.

Preprint Submission

We accept preprint submissions that have been submitted to any server globally, provided not published in the Journal or at any other similar platform. We encourage authors to submit the author’s copy (preprint) to India's preprint archive at https://indiarxiv.org or any other ArXiv.

It also serves as a means to connect graduates with experienced researchers, offering them the opportunity to learn about acceptance of research's purpose, its positive and negative results with ethical practices.

We believe that this platform will not only contribute to the advancement of knowledge but also foster a deeper understanding of research practices and principles among aspiring researchers.

About the Similarity Index

The journal adheres to a zero percent similarity index for the title, abstract, and conclusion sections. In the introduction, methodology, results, and analysis sections, no more than 3% similarity with individual sources or components is allowed based on the total number of words in the document. This computer-generated report will be subject to review and approval/permission from the section editor to ensure its necessity and authenticity. To qualify for the editorial process, the overall similarity index should be below 20%. However, meeting this criterion does not guarantee acceptance for online publication. It only qualifies the manuscript for a machine check-up process, as the editorial team and section editor will manually review the manuscript for quality purposes. Following this initial qualifying stage, the editor will assign reviewers to provide expert feedback. The revision, rejection, or acceptance of the article depends on the reviewers' feedback.

About the copyright

The author(s) will be the copyright owner(s) of the published article, and they will grant permission to use, remix, reproduce, and share the article under the CC-BY Attribution 4.0 license agreement on any platform.

Research is evolving beyond the open-access approach in the present time. The "Graduate Journal of Interdisciplinary Research, Reports & Reviews" (Grad. J. InteR3) is also an endeavor to promote open science and data sharing within the scientific community. The journal is dedicated not only to publishing research for graduate scholars but also to instilling research ethics and best practices in their early-stage research careers.
